PopMatters.com’s Evan Sawdey has a nice review of Ryan Adams and the Cardinals show at Salt Lake City, UT in support of Adam’s latest release Easy Tiger (Lost Highway.)
It appears that even a newly sober Adams is still establishing himself as the musical heir to Steve Earle and the attitudinal heir to Maria Carey.

I never thought about it before, but once I got notice that Lost Highway was giving away two golden tickets in select copies of Ryan Adams new release Easy Tiger (6/25) in copies sold around the New York area (winners get to attend a concert the Ryan Adams show that night at the Hiro Ballroom) I now see the remarkable similarities between Willy Wonka and Ryan Adams.
No word yet on if the Oompa-Loompas will be opening the show.

They will be performing “What Sin Replaces Love” and “Goodnight Rose” from their upcoming new Lost Highway release “Easy Tiger.”
